Owen Well Barn is located in the area known as Braisty Woods (Braisty derived from Brae – a short hill & Stey – meaning steep), above Summerbridge and about 25 minutes walk from Brimham Rocks. Surrounded by fields and woodland there are miles of public footpaths through beautiful countryside. The cottage sits opposite Owen Well House and was recently converted from a barn dating back to around 1729. Previous residents include cows, pigs and turkeys! The cottage has been built to a high standard and features exceptional insulation, underfloor heating and a log burning stove. It has an open plan layout downstairs with kitchen, utility room and a large living/dining area. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room and the main bathroom.
